Our Story
One saved life can change an entire family.
NextHeartbeat was born from a real family emergency. When Jen's husband suffered a sudden cardiac event, it was their son's EMT training that helped save his life. That moment changed everything. Jen realized that ordinary people, with the right skills, can make the difference between life and loss.
She pursued her own EMT certification, gained real-world experience in the ER, and launched NextHeartbeat with a simple mission: make sure more families, churches, and communities are ready to act when it matters most.
